About The Position

Requirements

• BSEE/BSEET required with MS a plus
• Engineering skills to include analog design with preference to power supply design experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of analog circuits, such as rectifier circuits, regulators, oscillators, amplifiers, filters, inductors and their electronic schematics
• Familiarity with non-isolated and isolated power electronic topologies such as Buck, Boost, Buck Boost, Flyback, Forward, Half-Bridge, Full-Bridge
• Demonstrated working knowledge of oscilloscopes, electronic loads, AC and DC sources, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers, and LCR meters
• Experience in circuit modeling (PSPICE, LTSpice, PLECs, MATLAB/Simulink, etc.)
• Experience in ECAD software (Altium, KiCAD, Eagle, Mentor Graphics, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of U.S. regulations as defined by ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, improving and testing new or existing custom electronic power supplies and products from concept through production.
• Proving out concepts in the on-site, well-equipped engineering development lab.
• Interfacing with customers on requirements.
• Providing technical proposals in response to requests for quotes.
