About The Position

As a member of Apple’s Platform Architecture team, the SoC QoS/Fabric Performance Engineer works with hardware and software engineering groups to shape the architecture of future System-on-Chips (SoCs). The role drives development of on-chip communication interconnect and memory Quality-of-Service features and contributes to a full-chip C++ simulator for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Watch SoCs. The engineer models emerging workloads, including Augmented Reality (AR) and Machine Learning (ML), and uses those models to study performance and power trade-offs. This highly visible work supports architecture improvements in Apple’s future products. Some international travel is required.
