Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Four (4) years of Endoscopy Tech experience.
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Current AHA BLS Certification required. Upon Hire

- Graduate of GI/OR Technology program
- GTS Certification
- AGTS Certification
Responsibilities
- Assists the physician in the performance of endoscopic and various complex interventional cases.
- Maintains supplies and equipment in the Endoscopy Department in proper working order.
- Cleans and disinfects equipment according to unit and hospital policy.
- Provides appropriate patient care to the Ambulatory Care and Endoscopy patient under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Performance of clerical duties as necessary to assure optimal function of Ambulatory Care and Endoscopy.
- Assemble and maintain patient chart material, maintain records and files, maintains order, cleanliness of the workstation.
- Completes charges for patients.
