About The Position

Gateway Surgery Center is an outpatient surgical center that provides endoscopic procedures in a comfortable, professional environment, with expanded services and convenient scheduling. It is a fast-paced environment focused on high-quality care and patient satisfaction.

The Endo Reprocessing Tech assists the endoscopy team during procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile setups and passing items as needed. The role also assists with preparing and moving patients and cleaning the endoscopy room. As directed by the Registered Nurse, the Endo Tech provides care to meet identified patient outcomes and facility goals. The position manages the centralized distribution and control of facility supplies and equipment, handles shipping and receiving, stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas, and maintains and tracks inventory according to facility procedures.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current CPR.
• Ability to work as a team member and communicate directly and professionally.
• Flexible, reliable, productive, patient-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Ability to portray the facility positively to others.
• Maintain professional conduct and appearance.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to patients, physicians, and other employees.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in endoscopy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures.
