About The Position
AMR is hiring full-time Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and provide patients with high-quality care, treatment, and customer service. EMTs assess patients, determine appropriate care, and deliver emergency services using suitable medical techniques and equipment. They document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights, and help keep the patient environment safe, clean, and well stocked. The role includes operating an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and applicable traffic laws, working professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs, and participating in community programs to support AMR’s image and community relationships.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- State EMT license.
- State driver’s license.
- BLS certification.
- NREMT.
- Driving record compliant with company policy.
- Pass a Physical Agility Test.
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities
- Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.

- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
- Use appropriate EMT skills, including communication, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.

- Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
- Participate in community programs to maintain AMR’s image and establish strong community relations.
