About The Position

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a high-volume Emergency Department. Primary responsibilities include handling a variety of patient types and providing high-quality nursing care.

Requirements

  • Minimum experience: 3 years in a large volume ED with high acuity patient
  • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC
  • EMR Experience: Epic (required)

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric emergency medicine experience preferred
  • Experience with Point of Care Labs is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Barcode scanning med administration
  • Managing medication drips
  • Blood product administration
  • Triage experience required - must pass hospital's Triage Test before allowed to triage
  • Ability to set up chest tubes, art lines
  • Assist with trauma and code cases
  • Splinting, bipap/vents
