About The Position

Exceptional Healthcare is seeking experienced Emergency Room Nurses to provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department at its new community hospital in Farmington, New Mexico. Nurses will join the hospital’s founding team and help establish it as a premier emergency care provider. The standalone facility offers Med Lab, Radiology, and Pharmacy support, as well as 24-hour in-house Respiratory Therapist coverage.

The role offers comfortable patient ratios, greater autonomy, close team alignment, and direct communication with leadership. Additional opportunities include cross-training, clinical leadership development, ongoing education, and working in a modern facility with quicker throughput processes and less administrative friction. Compensation includes a competitive hourly base and shift differential.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 2–5 years of ER or similar experience.
• Current nursing license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients safely, rapidly, and accurately.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor patient conditions.
• Communicate effectively with physicians about patient status.
• Administer medications and interpret diagnostic results.
• Provide education to patients and families.
• Document care accurately and respond to changes in patient condition.
