About The Position

The Registered Nurse delivers care to patients using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, in coordination with other health team members. The nurse interacts effectively with patients, their significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. The position provides high-quality care to geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, telemetry, pediatric, behavioral health, and critical care patient populations. This Emergency Department position is scheduled for 36 hours per week, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with every third weekend scheduled.

Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) at minimum, or currently in the last semester of nursing school.
Maintain valid licensure, certification, or registration.
Hold a Registered Nurse license in the State of Iowa, or be currently in the last semester of nursing school.

Nice To Haves

IV conscious sedation experience preferred.
