About The Position

The Registered Nurse works to aid and assist in the development, implementation, utilization, and maintenance of the day-to-day operations of the Inpatient Nursing unit. The role works closely with departmental managers and directors to support staff and patient needs while contributing to department operations, including assigning work, providing real-time coaching, and recognizing staff contributions. This is a 36-hour-per-week Telemetry position with scheduled hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and work every other weekend. Minimum hiring wage is $35.79 per hour. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nursing license in the State of Iowa.
• Maintain current and active status on all required trainings and education as outlined by corporate policy.
• BLS, ACLS, and Basic Dysrhythmia certifications.
• Experience as a preceptor and mentor for nursing staff.

Nice To Haves

• 2–5 years of experience in acute medical care.
• 2–5 years of experience providing adult education.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Board certification in nursing education, professional nursing development, or acute care.
