About The Position

The Registered Nurse delivers care to patients using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, in coordination with other health team members. The nurse interacts effectively with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. The role provides high-quality care to geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, telemetry, pediatric, behavioral health, and critical care patient populations. This is an 18-hour-per-week Emergency Department position, scheduled from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. every other weekend. Minimum hiring wage starts at $36.50 per hour.

Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) at minimum, or currently in the last semester of the program.
Maintain valid licensure, certification, or registration.
Hold a Registered Nurse license in the State of Iowa, or currently be in the last semester of school.
