Registered Nurse-Emergency Department-Night
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to all patient populations in the Emergency Department at Glenbrook Hospital. The nurse uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care; maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice; and takes responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care. The role also guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care and contributes to safety outcomes and a high-quality patient experience. This is a full-time position of 36 hours per week on a night shift, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. The hourly pay range is $37.25 to $57.74, with the offered rate determined by factors including expertise and years of experience.
Requirements
- Current professional nursing licensure in the State of Illinois.
- BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider.
Nice To Haves
- BSN degree preferred.
- Minimum of one year of current hospital nursing experience preferred.
