Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Night
About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department provides patient assessment and collects health data in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare providers. The RN coordinates patient care to ensure interventions are consistent, safe, timely, and appropriate. The role communicates clearly with customers in person, by phone, and in writing; individualizes patient and family education to meet assessed learning needs; participates in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice; and maintains professional knowledge of current nursing standards, laws, and regulations. This is a full-time position in Arlington Heights, Illinois, scheduled for 36 hours per week from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with every third weekend and rotating holidays. The hourly pay range is $37.25–$57.74, with the rate offered based in part on expertise and years of experience.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
