Registered Nurse-Emergency Department-Night
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to all patient populations in the Emergency Department at Highland Park Hospital. The nurse uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care; maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice; and assumes responsibility, accountability, and authority for nursing care outcomes. The role also guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel and contributes to safety outcomes and a high-quality patient experience. This is a full-time position for 36 hours per week on the night shift, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with rotating weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Current professional nursing licensure in the State of Illinois.
- BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider.
- Minimum of one year of current hospital nursing experience is preferred.

- BSN degree preferred.
- Minimum of one year of current hospital nursing experience preferred.
