Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Day/Night
About The Position
Munson Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. The nurse provides compassionate, patient-centered care as part of a collaborative nursing team, assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions and progress; administering medications and treatments according to care plans; communicating with patients, families, and team members; and supporting quality improvement initiatives and safety standards. This is a full-time position scheduled for 36 hours per week on a day/night shift, with hours of 12:30 PM to 1:00 AM. The schedule includes an every-other-weekend rotation and one required shift per biweekly pay period. The position is eligible for a $9,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year employment commitment to Munson Healthcare; terms and conditions apply. Munson Healthcare requires employees to be vaccinated or have lab-confirmed immunity for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella. Employees must also receive an annual flu vaccine during the flu season in the year they are hired and each year thereafter, unless they receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
- New and upcoming graduates are accepted.
- Comply with Munson Healthcare vaccination requirements for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella, and annual flu vaccination requirements unless an approved medical or religious exemption applies.
