About The Position

This role involves inspecting, installing, upgrading, maintaining, and repairing electrical and electronic equipment and systems for wastewater treatment and associated collection and distribution equipment, systems, and components. The position has two tracks: an electrician track and an instrument technician track. While technicians may perform duties from both tracks, the primary responsibility for this position will be in the instrumentation track.

Requirements

  • Journeyman Electrician (State of Michigan license within 1 year)
  • ISA CCST 1 Certification or relevant Associate’s degree (electronics) or 7,000 hours of relevant experience (serving as an Instrument Technician in an industrial facility).
  • ISA CCST 1 Certification is required within 2 years.
  • ISA CCST 2 Certification is required within 4 years.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, install, upgrade, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment and systems for wastewater treatment.
  • Maintain and repair associated collection and distribution equipment, systems, and components.
