About The Position
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to help support their Fire & Life Safety Education initiatives. This position will be posted until filled, and the hiring manager will actively review applications, complete interviews, and fill this opportunity as they see fit. The role involves leading customer service interactions for inquiries and scheduling smoke alarm installations and community outreach. The individual will also help lead community outreach events such as school puppet shows and various public education opportunities at schools, assisted living homes, and other public events.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess or be able to obtain prior to hire a valid driver’s license.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent public speaking skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead customer service interactions regarding inquiries and scheduling for smoke alarm installations and community outreach opportunities.
