What you will do in this role: You have the ability to impact our patients’ lives on a daily basis by influencing the nourishment we provide them. This is an important role that we take seriously. Providing a home-like environment includes the provision of tasty, nutritional and appealing food. It can be highlight of their day. You will manage a team, do the menu planning, manage and order stock, adhere to IDPH regulations and jump in where needed to add hands-on support. It’s a big job in a very busy commercial kitchen. In our facility we feel the Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) is pivotal to the recovery & dietary needs of our patient/resident. No two days are the same, and the work you do is noticed and appreciated by everyone.
