About The Position

Requirements

• Experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair, or a technical school degree or certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance with a specialty in Diesel.
• New graduates of a diesel technical program are encouraged to apply.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times in accordance with safety standards.

Nice To Haves

• Valid state-issued CDL preferred.
• Experience with advanced diagnostics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fleet equipment safely and correctly.
• Conduct failure analysis, repairs, and rebuilds of fleet equipment components.
• Inform management about housekeeping opportunities, harmful working conditions, and unsafe work practices, and suggest corrective actions.
• Identify and inform management of broken tools and missing supplies required for repairs, taking steps to resolve the issue when possible.
• Complete complex work orders with proper description of condition, cause, and correction, including completing warranty return tags as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
