About The Position
RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is hiring an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Truck Mechanic for its mobile service truck team in the Lansing, Michigan area. The role involves diagnosing and repairing semi-truck systems, conducting preventative maintenance, and providing professional service to customers. Candidates should be self-motivated, safety-minded, and able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers. Service truck experience is strongly preferred.
Requirements
- Heavy-duty truck repair experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a physical and drug screen.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.

- Service truck experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose truck systems.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
- Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and parts.
- Provide top-notch service as an independently motivated professional.
- Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
- Follow all safety requirements while servicing trucks and operating the service truck.

- $28–$35 per hour or commensurate with experience.
- Quarterly safety and performance bonuses after 90 days.
