About The Position
Western Dental Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Dentist to provide quality dental care on Wednesday and Saturday. The practice performs preventative, restorative, endodontic, and surgical procedures within the scope of general dentistry. The role works collaboratively with the office and regional teams, and alongside Specialty Dentists when patients are referred for specialty treatment. Experienced dental staff and a focus on smooth office operations support the Dentist in providing evidence-based care to patients.
Requirements
- DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school.
- Active, unrestricted state dental license or be in the process of obtaining a license upon graduation.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- DEA certification.
- NPI number.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and evaluations to diagnose dental problems.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Perform procedures including fillings, cleanings, extractions, and root canals.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Provide prescriptions for patients as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including X-rays and treatment histories.
- Refer patients to specialists, such as orthodontists or oral surgeons, for complex treatments.
- Ensure work complies with safety, OSHA, and infection control standards.
