Senior Technical Data Project Manager

About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead data and analytics initiatives in a large enterprise environment. The role combines project management, business stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and data analytics expertise. The project manager will work closely with business leaders, technical teams, and offshore delivery teams to execute projects from conception through implementation. Hands-on experience with Databricks and familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau are important. Experience in large global organizations with established governance, compliance, and delivery processes is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, or Technical Delivery roles.
- Proven experience managing enterprise-scale Data & Analytics projects.
- Strong experience engaging senior business stakeholders and gathering business requirements.
- Ability to bridge business and technical teams.
- Hands-on experience working with Databricks and modern cloud-based data platforms.
- Experience with data warehousing, data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration concepts.
- Strong understanding of reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience working within large global enterprises with established project governance and delivery processes.
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience coordinating and managing offshore teams, particularly teams located in XX.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Semiconductor, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or High-Tech industries.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with enterprise data governance and master data management practices.
- Experience working with executive leadership and steering committees.
- Knowledge of SAP and enterprise business processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of data, analytics, and reporting initiatives.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, gather requirements, and translate them into project plans and technical solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements sessions.
- Drive project planning, execution, risk management, issue resolution, and status reporting.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, business analysts, and reporting teams to deliver solutions.
- Coordinate communication, prioritization, and execution with offshore development and support teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across business and IT organizations.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Establish and maintain project governance, reporting, and documentation standards.
- Track milestones and provide regular updates to executive leadership and business stakeholders.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, data governance, and security standards.
- Drive adoption and change management activities for delivered solutions.
