The Counselor is accountable for providing patients and their families with accurate diagnosis, appropriate assessment, counseling, and assistance. This includes maintaining good relationships with patients, their families, medical staff, and other personnel within the medical complex, as well as outside organizations. The role requires maintaining the confidentiality of patient information, establishing an effective working relationship with other treatment team members, and accurate documentation in progress notes and treatment plans.
