As a project control officer, you help plan and monitor projects to meet objectives on time and on budget. You work alongside the project/agile leader and serve as point person for the team to help them meet their performance objectives. You are the resource person for project management tools, planning and performance monitoring. As a specialist, you serve as resource person in your area of expertise. You help the project/agile leader and their team monitor projects, programs and groups of projects and ensure they are efficient. You plan, prioritize and coordinate work to meet objectives. You anticipate issues and trends, suggest solutions and ensure they are implemented. You use analysis and assessments to recommend innovative solutions. Your initiatives require extensive knowledge of your speciality area. You are the point person for implementation of Project Delivery Office processes and requirements. You are responsible for highly complex projects and programs that require solid analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business and the ability to deal with complexity, ambiguity and/or multiple initiatives at once. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in many other fields. You play an integrator or coordinator role with various work groups. You lead and serve as specialist to teams, decision-making bodies and external providers.
