About The Position

The Computer Systems Business Analyst I supports the Clerk’s Office by serving as a liaison between business operations and technology. The role supports system configuration, testing, workflow and business process analysis, process mapping, documentation, reporting, training, software enhancements, troubleshooting, and departmental technology needs. This includes system access and account management, hardware, systems, desktop support, and issue resolution. The analyst reviews business requirements, conducts research, coordinates with County IT and stakeholders, and works with staff, leadership, and cross-functional teams to improve processes, enhance service delivery, support technology initiatives, and help complete projects and operational priorities on schedule. This is a hybrid position with three days remote, based on business needs. It is a limited-duration position through December 31, 2027, although the end date may change based on business needs. The Clerk of the Superior Court provides administrative services to the community by maintaining records of cases filed in Superior Court. The successful candidate will be collaborative, customer-focused, organized, adaptable, and able to build strong working relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role requires balancing technical expertise with customer service, attention to detail, and support for departmental operational goals. Onboarding includes regular meetings with supervisors, teams, and the administrative team to discuss expectations, goals, priorities, policies, procedures, and strategic measures. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in business analysis, business, or a related field.
  • Two or more years of computer systems business analyst experience.
  • A resume and cover letter are required; applications without them will not be considered.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Some positions may require a valid driver’s license.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide technical support for departmental systems, user accounts, hardware, and desktop-related needs.

  • Experience or ability in interpreting business needs, analyzing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, gathering and documenting requirements, and translating business needs into practical solutions.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with staff, leadership, County IT, vendors, and other stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with tracking, testing, and troubleshooting software development issues and enhancement requests.
  • Gather department requirements for new or enhanced application software features.
  • Coordinate project timelines.
  • Test changes and enhancements to software application systems, including creating documents and test scripts, manually updating document status and tables, and testing functionality.
  • Create, maintain, and run queries for reports and statistical analysis.
  • Support system configuration, workflow and business process analysis, process mapping, documentation, reporting, and training.
  • Review business requirements and conduct research; coordinate with County IT and stakeholders.
  • Help support departmental technology needs, including system access and account management, hardware, systems, desktop support, and issue resolution.
  • Work collaboratively with staff, leadership, and cross-functional teams to improve processes, enhance service delivery, and support technology initiatives.
