Red Peak Technical Services, LLC, a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, has an opportunity for a Computer Systems Analyst II. This role will provide government site Technical Publications/Data Management functions and tasks onboard MCAS Cherry Point NC for the UAS MQ-9 program. The analyst will work in accordance with MQ-9 peculiar procedures for assigned technical publications in both traditional paper and Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) formats. Key responsibilities include collecting, compiling, organizing, and interpreting technical data related to the MQ-9 program, constructing and verifying content, and managing the master technical data package for the weapons system and its components. The position requires maintaining master data packages/records for accurate and expedient publication updates and revisions. The analyst will research and analyze various technical documents (TMSDR, TD, LES, LPS, TEI, DCN, etc.) to determine necessary modifications to the master data package. They will also research, answer, and process Technical Publication Deficiency Reports (TPDRs) using existing publications, blueprints, schematics, and supply/logistics data, consulting with engineers, logisticians, Data Management Specialists, or OEM representatives as needed. The role involves assisting the MQ-9 program with Technical Manual Conferences, Quality Assurance, In-Process Reviews, verification, and Integrated Logistics Support Team meetings, ensuring adherence to governing specifications and policies. The analyst will support the government Logistics Element Manager (LEM)/Data Manager in managing technical manual source data, identifying manuals needing updates, estimating affected pages, and establishing update schedules and priorities. They will also assist in developing and reviewing source data packages for format, style, and content, and support the preparation and delivery of technical publications, changes, and revisions, including the development of draft Type B IRAC packages to meet NATEC policy. This includes PDF updates to NATEC compliant postings. The role also involves reviewing, approving, and submitting final publications to the Defense Automated Printing Service Office and NATEC website, as well as reviewing Interim Rapid Action Changes (IRACs) and Electronic Rapid Action Changes (ERACs) to correct publication problems. A significant part of the role includes converting/digitizing legacy data from existing systems/formats to specified formats, such as FAM compliant DON XML, CGM4, SVG, or other standards-based technical data products, adhering to applicable specifications, schemas, FOSIs, DTDs, and structures, including S1000D and MIL-STD-3001.
