About The Position

Requirements

• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, with reliable transportation or access to public transportation.
• State-specific qualifications for Category I and II Home Health Aides working for a Medicare Certified Home Health Provider.
• Louisiana applicants: current CNA certification or successful completion of a training program, and current First Aid certification.
• Pass a drug test before beginning employment.

Nice To Haves

• Current CPR certification or ability to complete certification within 90 days of hire.
• Six or more months of home care experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders.
• Support household tasks and meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use the EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
• Function in any home situation regardless of the client’s age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
