About The Position

Interim HealthCare of Oklahoma City is hiring a Home Care Aide to care for one client in Yukon, Oklahoma. The part-time schedule is Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekends required for the Yukon case. The position may be paired with an open case in nearby Tuttle to create a full-time schedule.

The role involves providing personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, observation and reporting of changes in the client’s condition, and accurate documentation of care. The company describes its approach as caring for the whole person and helping clients live meaningful lives at home.

Pay is $17 per hour on weekdays and $18 per hour for nights and weekends on the Tuttle case. Mileage is reimbursed at $0.64 per mile, and employees are paid weekly on Fridays. Benefits vary by schedule: health and dental coverage are available to full-time employees or part-time employees working at least 30 hours per week. Other listed benefits are for full-time employees. The agency is locally owned and Veteran- and nurse-owned, and has provided home health, hospice, and personal care since 1999.

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification.
• Current CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it.
• Reliable transportation to Yukon and, if choosing the full-time option, Tuttle.
• A dependable, patient, and compassionate approach to care.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Help the client with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship and help keep the client engaged and comfortable.
• Watch for changes in the client’s condition and report them to the office.
• Accurately document care at each visit.
