About The Position

Giving Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate HHA or CNA to provide one-on-one care to a patient in the patient’s residence in Hernandez, New Mexico. The caregiver will administer care according to a physician-established care plan and work collaboratively with CNAs, HHAs, case managers, and the patient’s physicians. This is a 1099 contract opportunity. The available schedule is five hours per day, Monday through Friday, with preferred morning hours that are flexible from early morning through late morning. Offers are contingent on passing a background check. Requirements

Ability to monitor vital signs.
Dependable transportation.
Current CPR certification.
Must pass a background check; offers are contingent on passing.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one services in the patient’s home.
Assist the patient with activities of daily living and personal care.
Perform light housekeeping.
Prepare meals.
Monitor vital signs, temperature, respiration, and other specified measures according to the care plan.
Remind the patient to take medication as prescribed.
Maintain records and documentation of services.
Communicate with the patient’s family, doctors, and other designated individuals about the patient’s health and care.
