About The Position
Giving Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one care to a client in their private home in Apache Junction, Arizona. The caregiver will primarily provide standby assistance according to the established plan of care, supporting the client's safety, comfort, dignity, and independence. The schedule is six hours per day, with flexible days and timing; afternoons are preferred. There is no caregiver gender preference. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity.
Requirements
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to monitor vital signs.
- Dependable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, individualized, one-on-one care in the client's home.
- Provide standby assistance with daily activities and personal care to promote safety and independence.
- Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers according to the plan of care.
- Offer supervision and support to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
- Provide companionship and respectful, attentive care.
- Assist with light housekeeping as needed to maintain a clean and safe living space.
- Support meal preparation and the client's nutrition and hydration needs according to the care plan.
- Monitor vital signs, temperature, and respiration according to the plan of care.
- Remind the client to take medication as prescribed.
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation of care and services provided.
- Communicate professionally with the client's family, doctors, and other authorized individuals regarding care needs, as appropriate.
- Follow the established plan of care, applicable policies, and scope-of-practice requirements.
- Uphold the client's dignity, privacy, comfort, and independence.
