Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, and four (4) years of related work experience.
- Four (4) years of experience with/in: Building AWS infrastructure and DevOpsX
- Four (4) years of experience with/in: AWS foundational services, and ECS/Fargate, RDS, ElastiCache, Code Commit, Batch, Lamda, Code Deploy, CloudFront, Athena, or Glue
- Four (4) years of experience with/in: CI/CD and Agile tool sets including Jira, Bitbucket Pipelines, and Jenkins
- Four (4) years of experience with/in: Linux administration and networking
- Four (4) years of experience with/in: Containerization skills using Docker
- Four (4) years of experience with/in: Maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Four (4) years of experience with/in: Programming/scripting languages, including JavaScript, Python, PHP, Java, HTML, or CSS
- Four (4) years of experience with/in: Cloud computing and integration methods
- Four (4) years of experience with/in: Testing tools such as Sonarqube and CircleCI
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure and cost-effective cloud infrastructure on AWS ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Design, architect, and lead the integration and installation of new technologies with regards to AWS and AWS integrations.
- Design, build and optimize DevOps pipelines including multiple quality gates and quick feedback loops.
- Collaborate with application development teams to transform traditional web applications into container-based environments using Docker and AWS Elastic Container Service/Fargate.
- Act as a technical lead on a variety of projects, delivering high quality, in an agile environment.
- Develop KPIs, establishing quantitative and qualitative metrics to track pipeline performance.
- Keep abreast with the rapid changes in technology and recommend suitable technology improvements.
- Monitor applications and troubleshoot any production issues.
