About The Position

Requirements

• Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or Medication Technician (Med Tech) credential, as applicable.
• Valid state-issued HHA or CNA certification when required by the state; HHA or CNA certification is not required in Pennsylvania or Delaware.
• At least six months of experience working with seniors in assisted living, home health, a hospital, or a long-term care environment.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records under RN delegation, including LPN supervision.
• Complete required annual medication training in accordance with state requirements.
• Complete company-required medication training modules.
• Provide resident care to meet needs described in each resident’s care plan.
• Maintain medical records and written documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Maintain residents’ comfort, privacy, and dignity when delivering services.
• Participate in and attend scheduled in-service training.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and community policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including care tasks or assignments as needed and delegated.
