About The Position

This position involves assisting and/or administering medications as prescribed by a physician to residents. The Medication Aide will be responsible for documenting all medication management related information, notifying the LVN/LPN of any negative medication reactions, and assisting with or managing all medication refills. Updating records as necessary is also a key part of this role.

Requirements

  • Experience as a caregiver
  • First Aid/CPR certified

  • Some coursework or training in medication administration
