• Ability to work with Surgical Technicians to ensure instruments are set properly for upcoming operations

Responsibilities

• Retrieving and processing used instruments
• Processing instruments with various chemicals to sterilize them for future use
• Ensuring the organization has an adequate inventory of instruments as needed
• Cleaning and sterilizing medical instruments
• Handling the assembly, processing, and distribution of medical instruments
• Maintaining the highest sterilization standards
• Organizing and storing instruments
• Collaborating with operating room staff, hospital floors, and outside departments
• Catching any issues before they become problems
• Implementing new initiatives
