About The Position
As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight! This role involves handling local truckload deliveries, primarily drop and hook, and delivering and picking up trailers within a 150-mile radius, completing approximately 3 routes per shift. You will drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 10-12 hour shifts.
Requirements
- 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years
- Must be at least 23 years of age or older
- Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
- Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician
- No record of being disqualified to drive
- Successful completion of a DOT road test
- PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
Nice To Haves
- Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
Responsibilities
- Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook
