About The Position
Target is hiring seasonal team members across guest service and engagement, specialty sales, general merchandise, food and beverage, fulfillment, front-of-store, style, tech, and inbound stocking roles. Seasonal team members help guests by providing welcoming and helpful service, responding to questions, and supporting a guest-first culture. Depending on the role, team members may sell and merchandise products, stock and set merchandise, fulfill orders, or support food and beverage operations. These positions provide experience in guest service, retail business fundamentals such as department sales trends and inventory management, and executing daily or weekly work to support business priorities and sales goals. Training is provided. The work is active and team-oriented, with busy periods especially on weekends. Team members must be available for a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. The starting hourly rate is $16.00 USD.
Requirements

- Ability to accurately handle cash register operations.
- Ability to climb up and down ladders.
- Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and regular attendance.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests, thank them, and exceed guest service expectations.
- Respond to and resolve guest questions promptly.
- Support sales through active selling and compelling visual merchandising, where applicable.
- Stock, set, and sell Target products.
- Help keep merchandise in stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Execute daily and weekly workload in support of business priorities and sales goals.
- Handle cash register operations accurately.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely.
- Work independently and collaboratively with the team.
