About The Position

The Beverage Cart Attendant is part of the Food & Beverage team at Esplanade Golf & Country Club at Lakewood Ranch in Bradenton, Florida. The role provides friendly, efficient, and professional food and beverage service to members and guests from a golf course beverage cart. It also supports basic inventory controls, restocking, and communication with the broader Food & Beverage team to maintain consistent service and product availability.

Requirements

• State-required alcohol seller/server certification.
• Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a beverage cart.
• Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 30 lbs.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while supporting team operations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to golfers and guests from the beverage cart in accordance with established service standards.
• Serve golfers during outings and private events according to BEO details and event timelines.
• Safely operate the beverage cart throughout the golf course and engage with guests in a friendly and proactive manner.
• Use upselling and cross-selling techniques and inform guests about daily specials, promotions, and upcoming events.
• Restock the beverage cart before, during, and after shifts to maintain appropriate product levels.
• Assist with inventory tasks, including counting products, rotating stock, identifying shortages, and communicating restock needs to management.
• Store, handle, and rotate beverages, perishable items, and supplies in compliance with food safety standards.
• Keep the beverage cart, storage areas, and equipment clean, organized, and presentable.
• Demonstrate knowledge of golf course etiquette and guest service expectations.
• Complete assigned side-work and prep-work accurately and on time.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors and colleagues about inventory needs, guest feedback, operational issues, and safety concerns.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
