About The Position
Tonkin Hillsboro Chevrolet is experiencing significant growth and is seeking Used Automotive Technicians to join their service team. The service department has an abundance of billable hours, ensuring no shortage of work. The main focus of this role is diagnostics and repair, performing a variety of tasks. The company provides the volume, tools, and team to help technicians succeed.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of automotive repair/diagnostic experience
- GM Certified
- Driver’s License
- Personal Tools
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Pre-employment drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Prior Use Automotive dealership experience
- Chevrolet certifications
Responsibilities
- Automotive diagnostics and inspections
- Conducting inspections, repairing engine failures, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and replacing parts
- Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout the repair/servicing process
- Mentor and help other technicians on the Service Team
