About The Position

We are seeking a skilled, experienced, detail-oriented Automotive Service Technician with strong problem-solving skills. The technician installs, maintains, and repairs vehicle systems and equipment, completing tasks on time while maintaining quality standards. The role involves working with a team, communicating with Service Advisors, and participating in training to stay current with new technologies and equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
ASE Certification required.
B-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
Dexterity, including a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination.
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve.
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates.
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of Service Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
Perform regular inspections to identify faults and potential problems.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional repairs and completion estimates so customers can be kept informed.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
Participate in training sessions to stay current on new technologies and equipment.
