About The Position

Keyes European is hiring Used Vehicle Technicians to recondition luxury Mercedes-Benz and other premium pre-owned vehicles. Technicians work with factory-trained colleagues in a modern service facility using OEM tools and equipment, with access to manufacturer and dealership training and opportunities for career advancement within Lithia & Driveway.

This is a flat-rate position paying $18.42–$55.00 per flat-rate hour and may also include short- and/or long-term incentives, including bonuses based on production productivity. Actual pay may vary based on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location, with final compensation established through the interview process in accordance with applicable laws.

The schedule is a five-day work week, with Sundays off and one rotating weekday off. Department hours are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; the department is closed Sunday. The role requires a high school graduate or equivalent and applicants must be at least 18 years old. The workplace is drug-free, and reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform essential functions.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of automotive technician experience performing diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to diagnose and repair engines, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, HVAC, and cooling systems.
• Experience using diagnostic scan tools and repair information systems to resolve vehicle concerns.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence and an acceptable driving record.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections on incoming pre-owned vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Recondition vehicles, including work on brakes, suspension, steering, engines, transmissions, HVAC, and fluid services.
• Identify and recommend additional repairs needed to prepare vehicles for retail sale.
• Complete multi-point inspections and document findings.
• Use diagnostic scan tools to troubleshoot vehicle concerns.
