About The Position

Requirements

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if offered the position.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources, and mentor new technicians.
• Provide safe and efficient customer service using interpersonal and communication skills.
• Apply knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality.
• Use Point of Sale systems and phone and in-person selling techniques.
• Use digital tools, handheld technology, and systems to plan and drive sales, improve the service experience, support associate engagement, and make immediate decisions related to services, safety alerts, product information, product applications, and training.
• Communicate equipment, tools, and supply needs to the TBC Lead, and track and monitor returns and special orders.
• Operate cash registers and process transactions.
• Work hands-on in the physical area and maintain accurate inventory, audit, safety, and compliance standards.
• Report complaints, safety hazards, and problems with products, services, and work areas.
• Complete paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.
• Ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored according to company policies and procedures.
• Identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve issues and concerns.
• Model high-quality service and products, support training, and help develop, influence, and inspire team members.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and use the Open Door Policy.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners; communicate progress; and recommend improvements.
• Promote a respectful, supportive, inclusive, and team-oriented workplace; build relationships and mentor others.
• Act with integrity and accountability, put customers and members first, and support continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies and skills.
