About The Position

Requirements

• Previous orthodontic dental assisting experience strongly preferred
• Experience in general dentistry is highly preferred
• Dental Assistant certification/registration as required by the state of Texas
• Experience working with orthodontic patients and treatment procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with different dental teams and providers
• Comfortable traveling between multiple dental practice locations
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently
• Commitment to providing excellent patient care

Responsibilities

• Travel between assigned Monarch Dental locations to provide orthodontic dental assisting support
• Assist orthodontists and dental teams with patient care and clinical procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment for orthodontic procedures
• Assist with orthodontic procedures, including bracket placement, adjustments, impressions/scans, and other clinical duties as appropriate
• Take and prepare dental records and radiographs as directed
• Provide patients with clear instructions regarding orthodontic treatment and post-treatment care
• Support general dentistry procedures and assist the dental team when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
• Follow all infection control, safety, and practice protocols
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience at every location
