The Materials Assistant will be responsible for efficiently assembling kits by accurately picking required components, handling and kitting numerous and small, delicate components and hardware with care while maintaining accurate counts. This role involves segregating, organizing, and maintaining inventory per FIFO, lot numbers, and serial numbers, ensuring accurate selection of serial and lot numbers via both physical and digital methods. The assistant will also support basic digital and physical parts organization, assist with receiving processes, standard packing of products, and entering domestic and international shipments. Escalating issues and discrepancies promptly is crucial. The position also includes assisting with physical inventory counts, accurately recording data for kitting activities, supporting inventory requests, and ensuring adherence to safety and ESD regulations. Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area is also a key responsibility, along with performing other assigned duties.
