About The Position

This role involves a variety of physical tasks related to material handling and inventory management. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and overhead cranes to move parts, sawing iron, and performing data entry to maintain inventory accuracy. The position also requires loading and unloading trucks, general housekeeping of the warehouse and yard, and undertaking special projects as needed.

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift 70 lbs on various occasions
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
• Computer literate

• Ability to learn to operate forklifts, overhead cranes and other material handling equipment

Responsibilities

• Move parts of various shapes, sizes and weights with forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Saw iron of various shapes, sizes and weights.
• Complete data entry into computer system of inventory materials to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Load and unload trucks in the yard.
• General housekeeping of the warehouse and the yard.
• Other special projects as needed or required.
