About The Position

The Materials Handler is responsible for moving parts of various shapes, sizes, and weights using forklifts and overhead cranes. This role also involves sawing iron, completing data entry for inventory accuracy, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining general housekeeping of the warehouse and yard. The position may also involve other special projects as needed.

Requirements

• Required 18 years or older
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift 70 lbs on various occasions
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
• Computer literate
• Self-motivated
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Team player
• Ability to learn to operate forklifts, overhead cranes and other material handling equipment

Responsibilities
