About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing guest and personal services; this includes guest needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of guest satisfaction.
• Good oral communication skills
• Professionalism in handling all matters.
• Ability to understand orders and understand information/ideas presented in writing.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of experience in food service and/or working in a bar environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completing tasks related to stocking, replenishing, cleaning, maintenance, and preparation of beverages under the guidance of the Bartender.
• Maintaining and stocking adequate supplies of bar items such as glasses, cups, napkins, drink supplies, condiments, etc.
• Washing glasses and other serving equipment at bars.
• Stocking refrigerating units with wines, beer, replacing beer kegs, etc.
• Replenishing ice at bar.
• Cleaning and polishing bar, counters, shelves, equipment, bar stools, etc.
• Preparing food items needed in the preparation of drinks.
• Trash pickup and disposal at bar and bar service areas.
• Maintaining personal health and sanitation standards (wash hands when using restroom, etc.)
• Reviewing work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, and/or safety.
• Stepping in to assist other Food & Beverage areas as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
