As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Inspection TWIC in Pacheco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Armed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and armed guard card or license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and work with a reliable, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity.
Requirements
- Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site procedures and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
