As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Inspection TWIC in Pacheco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and armed guard card or license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and work with a reliable, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site procedures and escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
