About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Armed Driver Patrol in Temple Terrace, Florida, at $18.58 per hour. The role provides consistent hours at an assigned financial institution site, with a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, offering the opportunity to increase hours up to 40 per week while retaining the option to scale back. The listed schedule is Monday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency responses. Duties include monitoring access, conducting armed patrols, responding to incidents, and completing security documentation. Employment is subject to applicable background and drug screening, and licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; required for driving positions.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor management according to site requirements.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, adjacent areas, parking locations, and perimeter.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain documentation regarding incidents, patrols, access activity, and other security observations.
