Armed Security Officer Full Time Patrol

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Wilmington, North Carolina. The officer will safeguard clients through a visible security presence, routine armed vehicle and foot patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. The stated schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, and Thursday, 6:00 PM–12:00 AM. Pay is $19.75 per hour.

Requirements

At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Monitor access, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and required equipment records.
