About The Position

As an Armed Security Officer Patrol at a busy retail location in Carrollton, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients, customers, and employees. You will conduct armed patrols, maintain a visible security presence, respond to security-related concerns and critical situations, and provide customer service and communication. The role requires Level III Armed Certification in Texas and follows a scheduled overnight shift.

Requirements

Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations, potentially before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to retail store clients, customers, and employees by carrying out armed security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations while following applicable procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entry and exit points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas.
Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, and policy violations, and help deter unauthorized access or disruptive behavior through a professional presence and timely reporting.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate with store management, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as needed.
