About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time armed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution in Cincinnati, Ohio. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible security presence, respond professionally to security concerns, and provide customer service to staff and visitors. The role is scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and pays $28.00 per hour.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have at least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Employment is contingent on applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements. Candidates must participate in industry-specific security training. Licensing may be required by state or local law before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATM locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation.
• Operate assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws and site procedures.
