About The Position

Woolpert is an award-winning global architectural practice, focused on performance-driven, highly complex facilities for some of the world’s largest technology clients. We blend applied research, strategic thinking, and technology-driven design methods, while seeking innovation that will define the future of our profession and drive solutions to the most complex design problems. We are seeking to hire an Architectural Designer to join our Healthcare Practice within our Buildings Team for our Coral Gables, Florida office and offer a hybrid work schedule. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country where the job is located.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture and 4+ years related experience.
  • Able to read, analyze and interpret general business documents, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
  • Must enjoy collaborating with a design team
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other technical design software.
  • Proficient with additional architectural or visualization software, (Rhinoceros, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) as well as the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a collaborative, fast ‑ paced work environment

Nice To Haves

  • LEED accreditation preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assists Project Architect in the preparation of construction documents and specifications using computer assisted design software and equipment.
  • Assists in the preparation and production of presentation materials, models, and material boards.
  • Contribute to the preparation of project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, reports, and supporting materials.
  • Support the coordination of design information with internal disciplines and external consultants.
  • Participate in construction phase activities, including assisting with on‑site observations and documenting field conditions under supervision.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with project team members and, as appropriate, external stakeholders.
  • Participates in firm-wide quality initiatives.
